Anticipation.

“The nicest part is just before you taste it, your mouth goes all tingly, but that can’t go on forever”

I am looking forward to this evening’s gig.

After the event I can look back, not with anticipation … with citipation*.

My favourite bit was when Kerry waddled in. On cue.

*I suspect ‘citipation’ is not the word. ‘Reflection’ works, but then what is it’s twin that means looking forward to it? ‘Flection’?

Did you enjoy the gig? I did. We always seem to play well at the Y. Maybe we’re more relaxed? i don’t know. Anyway “New Me” is great and I want to learn and record it so there.

I always enjoy our gigs. This is due to liking the sound of my own voice.* It’s a nice venue to play ‘cos it’s easy to hear one another I think. Akin to rehearsing in our lounges, but without the cups of tea. Recording “The New Me” (and a couple of other new songs) would be good for me. It means I can relax and move on to something new without fear of losing them forever. I have lots of ideas at the moment that I would like to … in the words of Billy Ocean … get out of my dreams, and into my car stereo.
    *And Sarah’s.
