Looking Down, Getting Up, Sounding Off

We ran through some ‘oldies’ whilst at the studio, just for the simple joy of playing ‘em. Here is “If he’s looking down” (the original of which can be found on the ‘busrting bubbles ep’).

On my laptop speakers this sounds a bit ‘trebly’ to me.  But maybe it’s because I am playing the bass and my egocentricity is clouding my earholes.  Just to be safe, you should play this back on a kick-ass* sound system with a thumping low end.  It’s that kind of song.

[right click it and save as... is probably your safest bet]

The recording of this song was also videoed.  So maybe that’ll find it’s way on here at some point.  (Moving pictures AND sound!  It’ll never catch on.)  There is a danger that seeing us in the studio might explode the myth of how sophisticated we are in real life as we play in just our undies with yesterday’s mascara caked on our eyes.  (Or was that just me?).

* I initially typed ‘kick-arse’ thus underlining my Oh-So-Englishness and lack of street cred.  Googling has put me straight and led me to this colonial term.
